Kimberly VersaceTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Akers is absolutely wonderful. Not only does she listen attentively but also takes time to educate me on any observations and put my mind at ease regarding any concerns. Highly recommend if you are seeking a practitioner who actually takes time to listen and understand your concerns - with data and information!!!! So glad I found her Shannon R SmithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr Akers is attentive, caring, understanding and really listens to her patients! Karlie McCormickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Best primary doctor I have ever had. Love the way she explains things and genuinely cares. Could not ask for a better doctor. Highly recommend!! George HernandezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Akers. From the moment I met her, she’s been nothing but welcoming, kind, and professional. She truly takes the time to listen and address any concerns, no matter how small they may seem. What started as a simple check-up turned into one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. Thanks to her guidance and ability to pinpoint symptoms, I’ve had an amazing year health-wise. I’ve recommended her to all my friends and family—and every single one of them has told me they absolutely love her too. Highly recommend! Alicia BaileyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Akers is thorough, compassionate and science-driven. I appreciate her attention to detail and ability to think about things both in a large picture and a close up. She is tremendous! Natalie PetersonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Akers is ABSOLUTELY the very best doctor that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. She is the only doctor that has legitimately taken the time to explain every single detail of my medical history, in depth to me- and actually wanted me to understand the reasonings lab work of things needed, to get from one point to another in healing whatever is going on with my crazy health! She is extremely thorough, and precise in her diagnosis, not to mention calming and supportive, with whatever your issues may be. The timing of her replies, even through an email/text is second to none, as well! She is the ONLY doctor that I have ever felt truly comfortable with, in a tele-health call- as far as seeing and understanding what could be wrong with me; at a time where so many doctors are always in such a hurry and don’t mind telling you so! She is also a fantastic mother and friend to many! I will always recommend her over ANY primary doctor I’ve ever seen. She is well worth a visit, and you will be so pleased with your results, after meeting with her! Bonnie JohnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. How Does Superior Health Medical Provide Treatment?
At Superior Health Medical, we provide two main kinds of treatment, video counseling and prescription medication. These treatment options may be provided together or separately, depending on what your provider decides is the best course of action based on your symptoms and additional factors.
Video Counseling
Video counseling, also known as teletherapy or online therapy, is a type of telehealth service that involves receiving mental health treatment and support through a secure video connection with one of our licensed mental health professionals.
During your video counseling session, the therapist and client can communicate through video and audio, and all your need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Video counseling is a convenient and effective way to receive mental health treatment, particularly for those who prefer the flexibility and convenience of receiving treatment from the comfort of their own home.
Medication Management
Medication can be a helpful treatment option when taken alone or in combination with online therapy. Prescription medication can help alleviate the symptoms of your mental health condition, while a therapist from a secure telehealth platform like ours teaches you coping skills and more.
Your healthcare provider will determine whether or not you would benefit from prescription medication.

Telehealth also offers convenience for individuals who have children or provide care for elderly family members. Instead of having to take time off from work or school or arrange for childcare or transportation, you can simply schedule a virtual visit with your healthcare provider.

With online therapy services, you no longer have to be in the same room as a licensed professional counselor to get the mental health treatment you need. With Superior Health Medical’s online therapy, you can receive a diagnosis and treatment without having to leave your house.
Therapy should be accessible and convenient for everyone, which is why all you need to get help from us is an internet connection.
