What Can Online Counseling And Treatment Address?
If you’re struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, insomnia, or bipolar disorder, our team of medical professionals is here to help. With their training and experience, they are equipped to evaluate and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
During your virtual appointment, you’ll have the chance to discuss your specific symptoms and how they affect your daily life. From there, your provider will formulate a diagnosis and develop a customized treatment plan that may include online therapy or medication. Here are the counseling services we offer and the conditions they can treat.
Anxiety Counseling and Treatment
Anxiety is a mental health condition that involves excessive or disproportionate feelings of worry, fear, or unease. It can manifest through various symptoms such as excessive worry or fear, difficulty concentrating, restlessness or edginess, and more.
Depression Counseling and Treatment
Our team of medical experts also treats and counsels for depression, which is a health disorder that commonly causes consistent feelings of hopelessness, low self-esteem, negative thoughts, lack of interest, and general sadness. Depression can also cause physical symptoms such as sleeping difficulties and changes in appetite.
PTSD Counseling and Treatment
In South Carolina, we also treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a mental health condition that can develop after an individual has experienced or witnessed a traumatic event, such as a natural disaster, a car accident, or a violent crime. It is characterized by a range of symptoms that can impact daily life, such as recurrent flashbacks or nightmares related to the traumatic event, avoiding activities that may trigger memories, and more.
Additionally, we offer treatment for Insomnia, a sleep disorder that can affect an individual’s ability to fall asleep, stay asleep, or achieve restful sleep. It can be a temporary or chronic issue and may be caused by a range of factors such as stress, anxiety, depression, medications, or medical conditions. Symptoms of insomnia often include difficulty falling asleep, waking up frequently during the night, or waking up too early in the morning.
Bipolar Disorder Counseling and Treatment

What Treatments Does Superior Health Medical Provide?
Superior Health Medical offers two forms of treatment: video counseling and prescription medication. Your provider will determine the most effective course of action based on your symptoms and other considerations and may recommend one or both of these treatments.
Video counseling, also teletherapy, allows individuals to access mental health support through a secure video connection with a licensed therapist. Using a computer, tablet, or smartphone, clients can engage in audio and video communication with their providers from the convenience of their own homes. This form of video counseling offers a convenient and effective way for individuals to receive mental health treatment, particularly for those who value the flexibility and comfort of receiving treatment remotely.
Medication, either on its own or in combination with teletherapy, can be a useful treatment option for addressing mental health issues. Prescription medication can help manage the symptoms of your condition, while a therapist from our secure online platform can teach you coping skills and other strategies. Your healthcare provider will assess whether or not medication would be beneficial for you.
